About the OER Digest

The OER Digest is a monthly newsletter for open education updates, opportunities, and reminders. The primary audience is the OER community in the United States and Canada, although subscribers come from all around the world. New editions are published every other Thursday.

The Digest was founded in 2015 and operated as a joint project of Creative Commons USA, SPARC, and the Student PIRGs until 2025. It is now housed within the Open Education Association.
